These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GoodBite application, website, and related services ("Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

GoodBite connects users with participating merchants offering discounted Listings for in-person pickup during designated collection windows. The exact contents of a Listing may vary and are intentionally not guaranteed.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian if permitted under applicable law, to create an account and use the Service.

3. User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

4. Orders & pickup

• Reservations are subject to product availability.
• Payment must be completed before an order is confirmed.
• Orders must be collected during the merchant's specified pickup window.
• You may be required to present your order confirmation (order reference) or other verification before collection.
• Uncollected orders may be treated as forfeited without refund, subject to GoodBite's Refund Policy.

5. Payments & refunds

All prices are displayed before payment. Payments are processed through authorized payment providers.

Refunds, cancellations, and other payment-related matters are governed by the GoodBite Refund Policy, which may be updated from time to time.

6. Merchant responsibility

Participating merchants are responsible for the preparation, quality, food safety, and compliance of all food products they provide. GoodBite acts as a technology platform connecting users and merchants.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the platform.
• Create fraudulent accounts or make fraudulent purchases.
• Attempt unauthorized access to GoodBite's systems.
• Resell or misuse promotional offers without authorization.

8. Intellectual property

All trademarks, logos, software, designs, and content available through the Service are owned by or licensed to GoodBite and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the Service without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoodBite shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. GoodBite is not responsible for the quality, safety, or suitability of food provided by merchants.

10. Suspension or termination

GoodBite reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
